I started writing this blog way back in 2009. It's been through several evolutions but I think this one will stick around for a while :) I mainly blog about running and healthy eating and though it's the blog for my coaching/wellness company, Sole Health and Wellness, I like to include my personal experiences with training, racing, life with twins + 1, etc. I am mainly a marathon+ runner: I have done 19 marathons, 10 50Ks, 3 50-milers and 1 100K. I am always training for something and I treat most of my races as training runs. I just like to have fun out there and experience everything the race has to offer!
Professionally, I'm a health education specialist with a Masters in Public Health, though my version of public health is helping people one-on-one. I started coaching runners in 2007 when I was working for Fleet Feet Sports in Gaithersburg, MD. It's been so rewarding to help others achieve their goals. In addition to being an RRCA-certified running coach, I am also an NASN-licensed sports nutritionist and NASM-certified personal trainer. I find true joy in helping others reach their health and fitness goals. It's such an honor and privilege to be a part of something so personal and special.
